Challenge

Emazing Retailing is a market research agency, founded in 2018, that works with online retailers to optimise ecommerce businesses. They offer a variety of methodologies to get real consumer insights including A/B testing, behaviour analysis, product testing, and other digital market research methods, all of which help businesses optimise their ecommerce presence and sales. 

As a startup trying to scale their business and work with established global brands, Emazing Retailing needed to prove they could complete large-scale, time-sensitive projects successfully and make an impact with the results of their research.

Solution

Based in Switzerland, but with their sights set on growing beyond Europe, Emazing Retailing knew they needed to source respondents for their global clients.

They first tried to use some well-known regional sample providers, but found they either couldn’t source enough respondents from non-European markets, or charged a very high sum to do so.

Emazing Retailing started running projects on Lucid’s Marketplace in 2019. Since then, they’ve increased the amount of work done through the Marketplace ten-fold.

For example, A/B testing requires doing a lot of tests with a lot of traffic. Before working with Lucid, the typical baseline was about 600 completes, which meant some projects were not feasible. “Now, we regularly have projects with 1,500 – and sometimes even up to 10,000 – completes. We have been able to triple the number of projects we can complete since working with Lucid,” says Pierre.

“We are a lean team of 15, so knowing that we can reach out to our Lucid Customer Success Manager at any time for training or troubleshooting really helps. Any time we’ve had questions for them, they’ve been a true partner to us and have helped us improve the results we are seeing with Lucid – and passing that on to our clients,” says Pierre.
